Pets give you their full attention. Research shows that multitasking makes you less productive and stressed.

Having social connections leads to longer life.
Live in the Moment
In a study called "A Wandering Mind Is an Unhappy Mind," Harvard psychologists conclude that people are happiest when doing activities that keep the mind focused.

Holding a grudge increases anxiety. While you’re practicing forgiveness, don’t forget to forgive yourself. Rehashing old mistakes is destructive and holds no purpose.
Wag
Quite simply, smile and practice gratitude.
Be Silly
Laughter is the best medicine.
Get a Back Rub
The Power of touch. Massage therapy can ease pain, give the immune system a boost, reduce anxiety, and help manage chronic conditions like asthma and diabetes. Hug your loved ones.

Tell your loved ones you love them everyday and often.
Play
Take time to have fun. Don’t be a workaholic.
Spend Time Outside
Get fresh air and Vitamin D. Spending time outside is not only relaxing but healthy.

This is why Yoga is so good for you, but simply stretching throughout the day is a healthy practice. This is especially important if you have a sedentary job.
